“Walking is not only a way of moving through a landscape.
It is a way of learning how to observe, understand, and protect it.”

WHY I WALK

Hiking gives me the time and space to observe details
that are often overlooked.
Changing weather, uneven terrain, wildlife, vegetation,
and signs of human activity all become part of the journey.
For me, walking is not only about reaching a destination.
It is a way to understand the relationship between people
and the environments they move through.

FIELD NOTES
